A lot of fun to play and it’s very different from the normal LOTR. Really a 9/10. The second one was better because it expanded on the great concepts of the first, thought the first game has a better story line. Id say shadow of Mordor (1st) has best story. Shadow of War (2nd) has best everything else
Shadow of War/Mordor were both amazing (microtransactions aside) because they had you fighting, exploring, and changing the world over time - this game has you skulking around as the weakest character in the entire plot. This entire game should've been a side mission or a mini dlc for a SoW/M game imo lmao
Shadow of mordor has better graphics but shadow of war has way better gameplay and way bigger battles. It was also a bigger game with way more to do. Need a 3rd game.
Shadow of Mordor/Shadow of War felt like a LOTR themed Assassins Creed to me. Also, Shadow of War is pretty decent as well, the story picks up where Shadow of Mordor left off, if you're interested to see the rest of the story. It improves on the Nemesis system a bit.
