Iv got a ford mondeo mk5 titanium. Bought the vehicle about a year ago and all was perfect. Over time the gear changes became more and more late. Now the car is going to 3.5rpm before changing gears. find a mondeo of same year and specification. get the ecu tag (you can do this by research on ebay pictures) then load the asbuilt file from that ecu to your car. this should sort all your problems. then you will need to do a key learn/ pats initialisation. If you have read a post by anyone on this forum and it helped.
might need the ecu too, also some cars have vehicle speed sensors in the box or in the driveshaft, both cars would need to be the same in that respect otherwise could cause problems (will encounter this doing the 5 to 6 speed swap) you'll possibly need to disable the start inhibitor switch too.
