American Airlines Business Class Review 787 Miami to Quito, Ecuador - the verdict. The American Airlines 787 'hard product' is wonderful though it is a more cramped (in width) than on the 777 widebody brethren. I knew I'd love it and the great shape of the seats was much to my delight. I slept 95% of the flight like a baby.

Flights booked Business Class round trip.. Seats on the new 737-800 from Sao Paulo to Panama are ok for a 7 hr flight, leather seats, little recline, but with tv and foot rest. flight attendants too busy chatting to greet passengers, basically the food seems to be from economy class, awful presentation, poor quality ingredients and small quantity.
100% CM. The plane will be old but you'll get there on time and the transfer will be painless. While Avianca is trying to become a low cost airline, Copa is still happily "premium". Panama airport is not a place for gourmands, and much less so its lounge, but I can't imagine SAL being way better. juddles likes this.
Copa is a good airline. No thrills and no frills. They use smaller planes for long hauls. At least in my experience no 777 nor 787s. No lay flat seats in my experience unless they have added them. No premium economy. They’ll have economy plus, and business. Flown with them over 30 times to several destinations. The airport in Panama is awesome.
Copa Airlines screwed up my business class ticket and caused me to miss an important business meeting. Then they refused to tell me why for two months. They did, however, agree to refund me, but it's been 4.5 months and have only made excuses.
Copa Club is located on the second floor above gates 130 and 133. They take priority pass as well as other lounge access cards. We visited September 2021 and they still have Covid precautions, such as they were not serving food they typically have, only prepackaged snacks, sodas and coffee from the coffee machine.
