We here at AOTF usually champion the 60fps High Framerate modes in games when available, but Assassin’s Creed Mirage looks amazing when set to Quality mode. Plus, the game defaults to its 30fps Quality mode unlike Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, which defaults to High Framerate and runs at 60fps on PS5 and Xbox Series X. On series X you have fps boost, most old games play at 60fps like assassin creed 3, rogue, ezio collection and valhala have a 60fps mode too, or a quality 30fps mode. On series x, origins and odyssey run at or very near to a native 4k, at 30 fps. Valhalla performance mode is 1188p-2160p at 60 FPS, and the quality mode is a native 4k at 60 fps. If you get the disk and don't update, it'll play at a near-constant 60fps outside of some cinematics, but you'll be locked out of multiplayer and any post launch dlc. The screen flickers so badly that it could really cause an epileptic attack on people that are prone to having them and there are multiple issues with artifacts.
