Tsardoms: Total War is a total modification for M2TW Kingdoms set in late middle ages, featuring a campaign centered on Italy, Balkans and Asia Minor. The reason we decided to make a mod like this is, firstly because we are familiar with the history of the region, and secondly (and most importantly) because this part of the world has pretty For Steam users with the Kingdoms expansion, I got it to work. Here's what I did: 1. Download mod. 2. Drag and drop the "data" folder and the "medieval2.cfg" from the "mod" folder into the "Medieval II Total War" folder. Click "copy and replace" to all. 3. Uninstall Medieval II, then reinstall it. Never played the Rome 1 mod, but it's ugly as all sin compared to the Medieval 2 version. Please note that the 'kingdoms.exe' trick, specifically .exe bit, only applies if you have all file extensions visible. If not, only call it 'kingdoms'. Calling it 'kingdoms' didn't work for me, unfortunately.
