I have a “Transmission fault limited gears available “ I read the code with a Foxwell NT530 and got a “P0659-00” code which reads “Actuator supply voltage A - circuit high”. Does anybody know how to correct this. It’s kind of an intermittent problem. But it’s very inconvenient and I don’t drive it because of this.
"transmission fault, limited gears available" I have the same "transmission fault, limited gears available" appeared on the display as well as an "F". However, My vehicle is locked in Park an is not drivable. I tried the procedure for emergency EPB release and nothing happened.

Fluid for these transmissions is ZF LifguardFluid6 part number S671 090 253 for a 20 litre drum. Dealers charge $78 a litre, other repairers less but it's still expensive. Other alternatives may be Motospecs Part # 749626, Ford RI-28, Shell ATF M 1375.4, Mercon SP XT-6-QSP Ford have a RRP of $48 a litre for their oil.
All back together, no missing screws, checked all connected. Go to start and am greeted with Park Brake Fault, Transmission Fault Limited Gears, HDC Fault, Suspension Light, DSC Light and Park brake is Amber. None of these were there before. Everything checked again, hard reset, still the same.
Pack with dielectric grease and see if your problem is solved. Had some issues with the gearbox since i purchased the D3. Its throwing up F on the dashboard and message similar to Transmission fault limited gears available. Long story short - its booked in with Transmission Centre at Underwood. The owner Scott gave me 30 min of his time, checked for fault codes and found two saying slipping in 5th gear.
