My first exposure to Burnout Paradise was the ultimate box version on PC. I really enjoyed the game, so much fun and I love the environment of Paradise City.. the different landmarks and the contrast between the city and the country/mountain area. Sadly there was no Big surf island DLC Then I played the game again with the Remastered version on PC.
Locate the save folder for Burnout Paradise (I can't remember the exact path, it's in the readme file in the main Burnout Directory,) and in that save folder there is a file called "defaults" and it lists a ton of controllers that are compatible. If you change the name of your controller in the registry to one of those, I bet it works
